Katrin Melle brings over three decades of hospitality and HR leadership experience — from on-property roles to Director of HR EAME and RVP HR Europe at Hyatt, CHRO at Aman, and, until recently, Regional VP Talent & Culture for Hyatt Europe, Africa, Middle East.
Today she works independently as a leadership coach for executives and emerging leaders, as well as a fractional HR leader with hotels and hotel groups — building HR foundations, supporting openings, and designing talent management and leadership development programmes that grow people at every stage of their career.
A certified coach and Genos-certified practitioner in emotional intelligence and Leader as Coach, she is convinced that good leadership is the single strongest lever an organisation has on retention. Where culture is genuinely values-driven, people feel seen, supported, and well — and they stay. In an industry delivered person to person, that continuity is a direct driver of guest experience and business success.
Katrin is also the founder of the CareerKonnector Mentor Alliance, a purpose-driven initiative connecting graduates with experienced industry leaders across hospitality and travel — industries where interpersonal skills are essential. She is led by her personal purpose to inspire, facilitate and foster human connections with intention, and is a long-standing advocate for inclusion and women in leadership.
