Color Press Group
Robert Čoban was born on 27 July 1968 in Bač, Vojvodina, Serbia. He graduated from high school in Bačka Palanka and studied at the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad. Since 1990, he has worked as a journalist — initially as a Novi Sad correspondent for the daily Večernje Novosti (Belgrade), the magazine Arena (Zagreb), and Sarajevo-based Naši Dani, as well as for the magazines Vreme and Stav. In 1992, together with a group of students, he relaunched the monthly student magazine Index.
Today, Robert Čoban is president of the largest magazine publisher in the region, Color Press Group, which has subsidiary companies in all six countries of the former Yugoslavia. The Group publishes 72 magazines, runs 25 websites, and organizes more than 50 events — conferences, festivals, awards, exhibitions — every year. Its portfolio includes licensed titles such as Marie Claire, Diplomacy & Commerce, Hello!, Brava Casa, Story, and Grazia, among many others.
In the HoReCa sector, Color Press Group publishes CafeBar and Hotel i Restorani. Conferences organized by the Group include Pro Femina, Food Talk, The Economist: World In..., Digital, Book Talk, CSR Serbia, Serbia Goes Green, and numerous others. The Group also publishes tourism magazines such as Hello! Travel, dedicated to specific destinations, cities, regions and countries, and Ski YU, the regional ski magazine.
